單球式躲避球

又名單球式閃避球

因複式躲避球傳入日本，再由日本演化成單球式躲避球。比賽時每隊出場10名/8名隊員，居於內、外場，其中外場人數至少一人以上。

通常採三戰兩勝制或五戰三勝制。

亞洲地區多數採用單球式玩法。

複式躲避球

又名複式閃避球（閃避球英文是Dodgeball），為流行於美國的躲避球，因所採用的比賽規則不同，又被稱為美式躲避球、六球制躲避球。

Dodge ball field

The official dodge ball competition uses a 20 x 30 meter volleyball court. The area within the field line is called the infield, which is separated by the midfield line, and each team occupies an infield field. All areas outside the field line are called outfields.

All the evasive players in the infield after the end of the field is the team's score.

Avoidance rules

Dodge ball became popular in the United States and Japan in the 1990s, and was later introduced to Taiwan and Hong Kong. In 2000, the dodge ball in Hong Kong could already be seen in communities and colleges. Dodge Ball was established in Hong Kong in 2005, the Hong Kong Dodge Ball Association, dodge ball began to be vigorously promoted in Hong Kong, the establishment of official game rules, unified and integrated Hong Kong Dodge Ball.

Competition requirements

10 players will be sent to each side against each other,
Must arrange at least one dodge ball player to the outfield
Mikasa hand-stitched synthetic leather dodge ball
The game adopts a two-game system, each game has 5 minutes

competition rules

If players in the infield area successfully receive the ball, the teammates in the outfield area can be "resurrected" to return to the infield.
When the attacking team hits the face (face, head) of an infield player of the defending team, the hit is invalid
Players must throw the ball within five seconds after receiving the ball
Players in the infield area will be immediately out of the game and retreated to the outfield area if the ball hits any part of their body

Basic gameplay

Hold the plate and throw at the opponent's infielder, hit the opponent to make it out
The defender tries to avoid the game and avoid being out
The outfielder successfully knocks out the opponent and gets the right to return to the infield

Scoring method

When the whistle is sounded, the referee will count the number of infield players on both sides, and the side with the larger number of players in the two rounds will win.
